Social and Channel Strategy Director
Starting on the front lines of social media as a community manager, Kim refined a philosophy that is deeply rooted in community advocacy and engagement. She believes that by building programs around the audience—instead of directed at them—through two-way conversations and tailored strategies, organizations can build greater loyalty, advocacy, and investment among their constituents. By applying her experience working with both nonprofit and for-profit clients, she develops social media strategies and campaigns, which aim to deepen connections between organizations and their communities. Prior to joining Pyramid, Kim spent over three years developing and executing social media strategies and tactics for large brands, as well as non-profit clients, at Spring Creek Group, one of the first fully-dedicated social media agencies in the country. Before joining Spring Creek, Kim spent four years at KEXP. She holds a bachelor’s of arts degree in journalism/mass communications and philosophy from Seattle University.
When not nerding out on the Internet, Kim can be found eating out on Capitol Hill, hitting up a concert or arts event, or curling up with a book. She is likely also plotting her next trip – suggestions are always welcome.
